Job summary

ETIC is seeking a Sr. Business Development & Construction Services Manager to lead strategic growth across environmental, civil infrastructure, and field services markets in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

The ideal candidate will drive long-term growth through client relationships, market development, and collaborations with operations to ensure exceptional project delivery. Hybrid work flexibility is offered with residence within driving distance of project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering or related field (not required).
• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction, environmental remediation, civil infrastructure, or related professional services.
• Proven success growing business through client relationships, strategic pursuits, and market development.
• Strong understanding of public and private sector procurement methods, delivery models, and construction operations.
• Experience leading or building a construction practice, business unit, or regional operation.
• Established industry reputation and professional relationships to support growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business development across environmental, civil infrastructure, and construction markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, agency representatives, and industry partners.
• Support market expansion through targeted outreach, strategic networking, and industry events participation.
• Provide leadership for proposals, qualifications packages, procurement strategies, cost estimating, and technical approaches.
• Partner with project managers and field leadership to ensure high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Represent ETIC at conferences, trade associations, and networking events to strengthen brand visibility.
