Job summary

Grant Thornton’s Real Estate and Construction Advisory practice in Chicago seeks a manager to lead multi-client engagements across data center, energy, and commercial real estate sectors. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required and CPA/CFE/CMA or equivalent certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in management consulting or internal audit is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of federal and state construction labor regulations including Davis-Bacon is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple client engagements from planning through delivery.
  • Identify cost savings and process improvements in construction projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and third parties to strengthen project controls.
  • Review contracts, finances, and compliance across engagements.
  • Develop staff and provide performance feedback and mentoring.
