Job summary

Jobot in Farmington Hills, MI is hiring a Construction Senior Estimator to drive budgets, estimates, and tender analyses for projects across Michigan. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subs to prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience), 5–10 years of estimating experience, and proficiency with Sage Timberline, On-center, Bluebeam, Procore, and MS

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
5–10 years of construction estimating experience.
Proficiency with estimating software (Sage Timberline, On-center, Bluebeam, Procore).

Responsibilities

Prepare preliminary budgets, estimates, and detailed estimates for projects of varying size and complexity.
Analyze costs and prepare estimates.
Establish and maintain tender processes, examine tenders, and recommend tender awards.
Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to prepare estimates on cost changes.
Utilize estimating software to create accurate and timely estimates.
Provide data for conceptual and hard bid projects.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
