Job summary

C&S Companies seeks a Senior Construction Estimator with a minimum of 8 years of total related experience in industrial and commercial markets. This role focuses on budgeting, estimating, and negotiating contracts for design-build projects with strong collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate will lead bid efforts, develop detailed estimates, and help drive successful project outcomes while advancing MWBE/SDVOB initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex, integrated projects from the first estimate through contract award.
• Prepare and organize project RFPs.
• Receive and manage incoming RFIs and subcontractor requests.
• Prepare bid packages with detailed instructions to bidders.
• Assemble a complete bid tab covering general conditions and trade proposals.
• Make subcontractor award recommendations to PM/Owner and negotiate subcontracts.
• Assist in post bid submissions and preliminary schedules.
• Promote MWBE & SDVOB good faith efforts in subcontracting.
