Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction science or related field; equivalent experience.
• 10–15+ years' experience in preconstruction/estimating on commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of public works construction and bid processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Bid2Win.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost-driven estimates by soliciting bids and reviewing plans and specs.
• Lead estimating team and manage the end-to-end estimate deliverables.
• Analyze drawings to determine scope and requirements.
• Prepare full-scope cost estimates and monitor cost history.
• Coordinate with operations for smooth information transfer on projects.
• Mentor new estimators and build subcontractor database.
