Job Description: The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of construction methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and effective collaboration with project teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
2. Analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation for comprehensive estimates.
3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders for accurate estimates.
4. Identify risks and opportunities in the estimating process.
5. Maintain a database of historical cost data and unit prices.
6. Review and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
7. Assist in bid proposals and presentations.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and construction methods.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. At least 7 years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
3. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
4. Strong analytical, mathematical, and software skills.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Relevant certifications are a plus.
