Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a motivated Senior Construction Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Texas. You will provide on-site construction observation, documentation, and quality oversight to ensure projects meet contract documents and standards.

Your role supports data center and civil construction efforts, delivering precision, collaboration, and engineering excellence. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, 10 years of construction experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field.
10 years related experience in various aspects of construction including estimating, bidding, preparing purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, and field engineering.
Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (PE).
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Bluebeam, estimating & scheduling software, and web-based document collaboration software.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering expertise and management oversight for the development and construction of various quality construction projects.
Prepare project budgets and schedules.
Plan, prepare and analyze documents, and manage construction contracts.
Coordinate and manage project quality assurance and control, and inspection services.
Coordinate and manage survey and layout work in the field.
