Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Texas. You’ll provide on-site construction observation, documentation, and quality oversight to ensure projects meet contract documents, plans, and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field.
• 10 years related experience in construction incl. estimating, bidding, schedules and field engineering.
• PE license recognized by the licensing board for the location.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise and management oversight for development and construction of various projects.
• Prepare project budgets and schedules.
• Plan, prepare and analyze documents; manage contracts.
• Forecast and track budgets, cash flow, and resources for projects.
• Coordinate quality assurance, inspection services, and field survey work.
• Assist crafts, disciplines, and subcontractors in executing work.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and project teams.
