Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Senior Engineer (Utility) to oversee planning, project management, construction, and operations across Distribution, Substation, and Transmission lines in the New Orleans area. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with multiple departments and external partners.

The position is onsite, with up to 25% travel, and may be filled at Engineer III or Sr. level based on experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate Distribution, Substation, and Transmission Line Construction projects.
Prepare construction contracts, schedules, cost tracking, and progress reporting.
Provide engineering field technical support to crews.
Review Substation and Line design packages for construction.
Develop project scopes, estimates, sequences, and schedules.
Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout projects.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders across departments.
