Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. seeks a Construction Design & Delivery engineer to lead end-to-end infrastructure design at the Wormhole factory, translating operational needs into buildable, code-compliant designs across architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil disciplines.

You will coordinate with Manufacturing, CAD teams, and consultants, manage budgets, and provide construction administration to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery as we help build rockets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• 5+ years leading capital or infrastructure projects through design, permitting and construction.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, fire/life safety, Title 24 and permitting.
• Ability to manage consultant deliverables and coordinate design reviews.
• Proficient in producing clear meeting notes and handoff packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure project design from concept to construction handoff.
• Translate requirements into buildable, code-compliant design packages across disciplines.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants and cross-functional design teams.
• Develop work center layouts with Manufacturing Engineers and CAD teams.
• Manage design-phase budgets and change tracking with project controls.
• Provide construction administration support including submittals and RFIs.
