Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 5+ years in construction law and civil litigation.
• Experience in civil defense and insurance defense.
• Strong knowledge of liability, discovery, motions, mediation and trial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction defect litigation from inception to trial.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to construction defect cases.
• Represent clients in court and handle depositions of lay and expert witnesses.
• Advise clients on rights, obligations, and risks in defect litigation.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies to resolve disputes.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to deliver services.
• Stay updated on trends and developments in construction law.
