Job summary

ofbexternal in New Jersey seeks a senior credit professional to lead construction loan processing from origination to closing. You will analyze complex CRE requests, structure proposals, and render credit decisions within policy, coordinating with customers, attorneys and title professionals.

Responsibilities include managing the bank's most complex construction loans, reviewing loan documents, preparing budgets, and presenting analyses to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial lending environment with 5 years progressively responsible experience in credit evaluation, portfolio risk assessment and underwriting.
• 5 or more years of experience in commercial real estate loan administration.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of construction loan processing from origination to closing.
• Review CRE loan documents while protecting the Bank's interests.
• Manage the Bank's most complex construction loans.
• Prepare comprehensive written analyses and risk assessments.
• Present credits to Management Credit Committee and provide input as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with credit policy and applicable laws and regulations.
