Job summary

Pegasus Search & Selection is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Cost Manager to lead cost management for major projects in Miami and Florida. You will oversee estimating, cost planning, procurement, cost control and change management, while managing client relationships across the full project lifecycle.

The role requires 5–7 years in cost management within construction, with strong procurement and value engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years' relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
• Experience on medium to large-scale, complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, value management and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project estimates, cost plans, forecasts and budgets.
• Lead procurement activities including tender analysis, bid levelling, vendor assessment and recommendations.
• Provide cost reporting, forecasting, risk management and value engineering advice to clients.
• Manage cost control, payment applications, change orders and wider commercial issues.
• Review and negotiate contractor and subcontractor pricing.
• Support clients and project teams through pre- and post-contract stages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Identify, coach and mentor junior talent, supporting the development of the wider team.
