Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Construction Cost Estimator to join our Construction Department in Detroit, MI. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with ten or more years of related experience.

Responsibilities include advancing our cost estimating processes, providing technical guidance, and mentoring staff. The role offers an excellent salary and benefits package including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 10 years or more of related experience required.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and labor costs.
• Ability to estimate all types of municipal projects.
• Familiar with estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Advance cost estimating processes for Engineers Opinion of Construction Cost estimates.
• Train Design Engineers on EOPCC development.
• Provide technical guidance and market segment input.
• Participate in sales calls and proposals.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
