Job summary

BNY is seeking an experienced Construction Contracts & Procurement Manager to lead procurement for a large-scale corporate real estate renovation in Pittsburgh, PA. You will manage end-to-end construction contracts, from RFPs to complex AIA agreements, coordinating with project managers and senior leadership.

The role is a 12-month contract with potential extension or conversion, requiring four days onsite weekly in Pittsburgh or New York.

Qualifications

8+ years of construction contracting and procurement experience.
Experience negotiating AIA construction agreements for large projects.
Experience leading RFP/RFI processes and commercial negotiations.
Background in office renovations or large-scale construction environments.
Experience managing multi-million dollar contracts with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead negotiations and execution of complex construction contracts (AIA, amendments, MSAs).
Own end-to-end RFP process, bid strategies, proposals evaluation, vendor selection.
Identify, negotiate with general contractors and architects, build supplier partnerships.
Negotiate terms, pricing, scope and risk for multi-million dollar renovations.
Partner with PMs, Legal, Finance and senior leaders to align procurement strategies.
Maintain contract documentation and ensure policy compliance across projects.
Support approximately 10–15 concurrent renovation projects with contract expertise.
