Job summary

Williams is seeking a Construction Contract Manager III-Sr in Tulsa, OK to coordinate with engineering and construction teams on large capital projects, focusing on contract scope, bidding, and execution.

Qualified candidates will have six years of experience in contracting, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of oil and gas midstream operations. Williams offers competitive pay and its Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum six years of related experience creating, bidding, negotiating and implementing construction contracts.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• General knowledge and understanding of the oil and gas industry with specific knowledge regarding midstream engineering and construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with project teams to formulate contracting strategy that mitigates identified issues.
• Assists with development of contract scope of work/schedule and identifies supporting documentation.
• Facilitates bidding and execution of construction contracts; reviews contracts to understand risk allocation.
• Participates in cost analysis; schedules reports for compliance with contract requirements and prepares relevant documentation.
• Resolves sophisticated problems to improve performance, efficiency and safety.
• Provides contractual support to field personnel and assists in providing written responses to and/or contributing resolution of disputes.
• Participates in critical decision-making processes.
• Ensures compliance with records and document management procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
