Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to analyze, review, and draft complex contracts across the enterprise from its McLean, VA office. The role negotiates terms aligned with Clark’s standards and partners with senior leadership to provide practical legal guidance on business matters.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of transactional experience, with construction/government contracts considered an advantage.

Qualifications

5–7 years of transactional experience with contract negotiation leadership.
Experience with construction and/or government contracts is an advantage.
Strong collaboration with business teams to align terms with company standards.

Responsibilities

Analyze, review and draft owner contracts, subcontracts and other agreements.
Negotiate contracts to meet Clark’s standards and business needs.
Provide legal guidance to corporate leadership on business and industry matters.
Provide training within the organization on commercial contract topics.
Cultivate industry relationships to bring business opportunities to Clark leadership.
Promote a recruitment mindset by engaging with potential talent and networks.
Anticipate stakeholders’ needs and deliver timely, practical legal solutions.
