Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our PMCM team in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. This full-time, on-site position serves as a key member of the project team responsible for the commercial management of a large-scale construction project, including contract administration, change management, claims evaluation, and commercial risk mitigation.

The Senior Commercial Manager will provide leadership and oversight of contractual and commercial matters throughout the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction project management and commercial management.
• Experience with CMAR delivery and working for a contractor or CM firm.
• Strong understanding of contracts, change orders, claims, scheduling, and project controls.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience resolving complex commercial issues while balancing obligations and project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project's expert on contractual and commercial matters.
• Interpret and administer contract terms, ensuring stakeholder compliance.
• Review contract requirements, risks, and entitlements throughout the lifecycle.
• Guide leadership on rights, responsibilities, and commercial strategies.
• Lead change order reviews, pricing, scope impacts, and schedule implications.
• Collaborate to negotiate and resolve change-related issues.
• Review contractor claims and analyze schedule and cost impacts.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies for project objectives.
• Prepare commercial analyses and recommendations for leadership.
