Job summary

Lockton Companies in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Senior Claims Consultant to provide advocacy for design and construction clients. You will analyze complex professional liability and general liability claims, advise on coverage and strategy, and coordinate claims management to meet client service requirements.

Ideal candidates have strong written and verbal communication, deep knowledge of claims practices, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree in business field, related field, or equivalent practical insurance claim management experience
• Substantial knowledge of Third-Party Administrators practices and partnerships
• Proven experience in evaluating property and casualty claim reserving practices
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims, coverage interpretation and communication
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth coverage analysis, investigation, liability and exposure analysis
• Understand claims-made policies and resolve coverage disputes
• Assist insureds with development and implementation of resolution strategies
• Develop and implement client claims programs with superior written and verbal communication
• Coordinate claims management within industry best practices and client service requirements
