The role requires 5–10 years of construction litigation and strong knowledge of related codes. You will draft contracts, advise clients, and manage disputes while coordinating with a skilled team for efficient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of litigation experience and dispute resolution in construction law.
• Active California bar admission required; familiarity with ABA standards.
• Specialty in construction law strongly preferred; knowledge of local codes and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Review, modify, and create construction contracts and government contracts for liability and payment protection.
• Provide legal counsel by analyzing client needs and determining proper strategy.
• Prepare legal documents: correspondence, motions, pleadings, briefs, claims.
• Resolve construction claims and disputes to avoid litigation where possible.
• Mediate, negotiate, arbitrate, litigate, and argue motions in court on behalf of clients.
• Supervise administrative staff and paralegals; manage client billing and case wrap-up.
