Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant in Temple, Texas, to oversee job costing, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. This on-site, permanent role requires at least five years of relevant experience, preferably in construction, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

You will manage AP/AR, assist with budgets and forecasts, and support year-end audits while mentoring junior staff in a collaborative environment. A CPA is desirable but not essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction.
• Proficiency in job costing, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and AP/AR management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• CPA certification is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing job costing activities and allocation of costs and resources.
• Maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries, analyses, and reconciliations.
• Preparing, reviewing, and distributing monthly financial reports to management.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes with timely payments.
• Assisting with budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and advising management.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and policies.
• Participating in year-end audit activities and coordinating with external auditors.
• Identifying process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Guiding and supporting junior accounting staff to foster a collaborative team.
