Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Messaging Administrator (Contractor) to provide operational, technical, and platform support for enterprise messaging across IBM MQ, Confluent Kafka, IBM Integration Bus, and TIBCO. The role focuses on Confluent Kafka administration, with contributions to MQ and TIBCO as needed.

The ideal candidate will install, troubleshoot, and optimize messaging environments running on Linux and Windows, work within Production Support, and leverage scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a system support environment working with Confluent Kafka.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across systems.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Dynatrace or Splunk experience.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation - Python or Shell.
• Experience supporting IBM MQ.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, configure, and support Confluent Kafka.
• Provide operational and platform support for IBM MQ, IIB, and TIBCO as needed.
