Job summary

Brown Rudnick LLP seeks a Senior Conflicts & Risk Analyst to join the Intake & Conflicts Team. You will identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest for new clients and matters, working with attorneys and management to mitigate risk.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of professional conduct rules. Office locations include Orange County, LA, Silicon Valley or Houston, with a schedule rotating Tue-Sat or Wed-Sun.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of legal conflicts experience in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of US ethical rules relating to conflicts.
• Experience with InTapp and Aderant.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work extended hours during spikes.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and resolve conflicts of interest for new clients and matters.
• Collaborate with Conflicts Attorneys to resolve complex issues and escalate as needed.
• Partner with attorneys and assistants to understand conflicts needs and provide service.
• Lead and assist with large searches across data sets under tight deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects and respond to time-sensitive emails.
• Assist in conflict searching for marketing requests or other tasks as assigned.
• Analyze client engagement terms and provide analyses where needed.
• Deliver due diligence reviews for financial and compliance purposes.
• Maintain and update database integrity and client/matter records.
• Conduct sanctions searches and share relevant information with firm departments.
• Maintain ethical screens for confidentiality and conflicts.
