About the Team/Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Release Engineer with a strong Software Development background. Key skills include PowerShell, YAML, C#, SQL, Azure DevOps administration, and automation using AZDO API calls, JIRA, GitHub, native CI/CD, Groovy, and pipeline development/orchestration. This role requires a self-sufficient, proactive developer eager to be part of a growing team of innovators and developers.
Experience you’ll bring
- Strong background in software development with experience in PowerShell, YAML, C#, SQL, Azure DevOps, and automation.
- Ability to execute tasks with minimal guidance and a proactive approach.
- Experience deploying modern cloud-based software.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft technology stack.
- Experience working with agile teams and delivering software iteratively.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, best practices, and standards.
- Azure DevOps Administration and API usage.
- YML pipeline development.
- Experience with GIT, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of Groovy, pipeline orchestration, Docker, Ansible, PowerShell, VBScript, SQL.
- Automated testing integration into pipelines.
- Atlassian JIRA administration.
- Experience with AI tooling for CI/CD optimization.
- Implementing versioning standards, data analysis tools like DataDog and Splunk, and release management.
Ideal candidates will also have a development background in Visual Studio (.NET), and experience with tools like Confluence, and general code analysis tooling.
The role offers a salary range of $120,000 to $160,000, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
