Senior Configuration/Release Software Development Engineer

About The Team/Role

Looking for a highly motivated Release Engineer with a strong Software Development background. Your experience should include, but not be limited to, PowerShell, YAML, C#, SQL, Azure DevOps administration, and automation utilizing AZDO API calls, JIRA, GitHub, native CI/CD, Groovy, pipeline development/orchestration. This foundation will equip you to execute tasks with minimal direction. Experience you’ll bring

• Strong background in Software Development and Release Engineering
• Proficiency in PowerShell, YAML, C#, SQL, Azure DevOps, AZDO API, JIRA, GitHub, CI/CD, Groovy, pipeline orchestration
• Experience deploying modern software in the cloud
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft technology stack
• Experience working with agile teams to deliver software iteratively
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, best practices, and standards
• Azure DevOps Administration and Services API knowledge
• YAML pipeline development expertise
• Experience with GIT, GitHub Actions, Docker, Ansible, PowerShell, VBScript, SQL
• Experience integrating automated testing into pipelines
• Atlassian JIRA Administration
• Knowledge of AI tooling integration for CI/CD optimization
• Understanding of Versioning standards, DataDog, Splunk, Release Management, and code analysis tools
