Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to support a strategic DoD program. You will own configuration management across the program lifecycle, establishing hardware, software, and firmware baselines while overseeing license inventory and renewals.

This role requires active clearance, 6+ years CM experience, and proven use of CM tools (Jira, Git/GitLab, Confluence).

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Six years of configuration management experience on hardware/software integrated programs.
• Experience managing baselines and change control (ECR/ECP/CCB).
• Experience with CM tooling (Jira, Git, GitLab, Confluence, PDM/PLM).
• Experience with Linux and exposure to Ansible.
• Familiarity with CM standards (EIA-649, DoD 5000 series).
• Strong documentation, detail orientation, and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain hardware, software, and firmware baselines across the program.
• Manage ECRs, ECPs, and deviations through the CCB process.
• Maintain CM plans, procedures, and tools per DoD and program needs.
• Administer CM toolset and ensure traceability across requirements, design, and records.
• Manage technical data packages, BOMs, and engineering release records.
• Own software license inventory, entitlements, renewals, and compliance.
• Maintain license agreements and ensure compliance across delivered systems.
• Conduct FCAs and PCAs to verify baseline integrity.
• Provide configuration and license metrics/reports to leadership.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams.
