Job summary

Amentum seeks a Configuration Management Specialist in a critical DoD program to join a team delivering integrated voice, video, and data services across the IT lifecycle. You will manage CM activities, define CM procedures, and implement tools to track configurations throughout their lifecycle, while ensuring compliance with customer standards.

The role requires Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS, 10+ years of CM experience, and strong ServiceNow/CMDB expertise, with the ability to work

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience with CMDB tools to track IT assets and configurations
• Knowledge of ITIL-aligned processes
• DoD IT service delivery standards experience
• Ability to work a 40-hour week and overtime when needed
• Familiarity with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Project, Visio)

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly CM updates on planning, status, and audits to customer and management
• Develop and maintain CM procedures, work instructions, and policy manuals
• Configure and maintain CM tools to support identification, control, reporting, release, and delivery
• Demonstrate CM and release activities ensuring compliance with standards
• Train team members on CM tools and processes
• Refine deployment processes and SOPs for CM alignment
• Adhere to customer policies and ensure compliance
