Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Nashville, TN seeks a Lead, Configuration Management to own and mature CM processes across hardware and software programs. You will drive policy, data integrity, and lifecycle governance while collaborating with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and IT.

The role combines hands-on CM work with leadership, including change control (ECRs/ECOs/ECPs), PLM administration (Windchill), audits, and continuous improvement to ensure product quality and traceability throughout

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree reduces requirement.
2–4 years in configuration management within a PLM environment with Windchill or similar tools.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain CM policies, procedures, numbering standards, and lifecycle practices.
Serve as the primary CM SME, providing training and support to cross-functional teams.
Ensure CM processes meet industry standards and support audit compliance.
Define and manage product structure, attributes, and lifecycle data across products and programs.
Lead engineering change management activities (ECRs, ECOs, ECPs) through review and implementation.
Administer Windchill for data integrity and release management.
Support audits and drive corrective actions; develop CM documentation.
