Job summary

Pinnacle Solutions, an Akima company, is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst III to develop, implement, and maintain CM and Data Management plans across programs in Huntsville, AL.

You will lead CM meetings, manage baselines, reviews, and audits, and mentor teams on CM best practices while ensuring compliance with MIL-HDBK standards and government contracts. On-site work with cross-functional stakeholders and subcontractors is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience in Configuration Management, Data Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance required.
• Any clearance requirements for this position are established by the government contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Configuration Management and Data Management plans, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Lead Configuration Management meetings, Change Control Boards (CCBs), and related governance activities to ensure timely review and disposition of change requests.
• Review, process, and coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Deviations, Waivers, and other controlled change documentation.
• Establish, maintain, and control product, system, software, and documentation baselines throughout the program lifecycle.
• Coordinate with engineering, program management, quality assurance, manufacturing, supply chain, cybersecurity, and subcontractor teams to maintain configuration integrity.
