Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in the United States seeks a Configuration Management professional to oversee data management and change control across programs. You will lead hardware reviews, coordinate change records, and prepare documentation with internal and supplier teams.

The role emphasizes process improvement, adherence to CM policies, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Support, and Manufacturing. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with change control processes and analyzing proposed changes to determine effect on overall product and system
• Proficient in Configuration Management skills on sophisticated systems including two or more: Engineering Release Processes, Product Identification, Baseline Change Control, Status Accounting, Verification/Audit
• Experience establishing and executing processes for efficiency and compliance across lifecycle phases of a program
• Experience with PTC Windchill software or other EPDM systems
• Adept in Microsoft Office applications, including generating, compiling and analyzing data reports
• U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee configuration and data management processes to control aspects of program(s) execution and report metrics
• Analyze proposed changes of product design or requirements to determine the effect on the overall product and system
• Lead and/or act as voting member on hardware reviews and Physical configuration audits
• Coordinate modification records for management control
• Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor personnel
• Prepare reports of change effect on overall product
• Review change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
