Job summary

Raytheon Field Engineering in Pittsfield, MA seeks a Senior Configuration Analyst to support the Trident ISF program. You will work within the LPC team to manage configuration data for precision aerospace hardware.

Responsibilities include coordinating with manufacturing, procurement, and quality, creating technical data packages, and performing impact analyses on contract changes. A SECRET clearance is required, with onsite work at the Pittsfield site.

Qualifications

What You Will Do

Raytheon Field Engineering is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to support the Trident Integrated Support Facility (ISF) program, based out of Pittsfield, MA. This position will work as part of the Logistics and Production Control (LPC) Team, under direction from the LPC team lead, and will provide support for configuration management activities associated with a manufacturing/repair facility for precision aerospace hardware. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials
  • Configuration Management Support for factory activities
  • Creation/Maintenance of technical data packages (Repair Plans, Vendor TDP, BOE)
  • Inventory Control Support
  • Data Transmission for configuration, performance, and hardware status
  • Preparation of Acceptance Packages for customer submittal
  • Impact analysis for changes in contract requirements documentation
  • Creation/Review of Quality History Packages
  • Ability to read and understand engineer drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to understand production flow and recommend efficiencies
  • Analysis of Factory Operation Systems and coordination between functions for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate and prepare all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with government and company regulations
What You Will Learn
Qualifications You Must Have
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; preferably in a function related to logistics, production control, manufacturing, repair, depot operations, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interface with persons of multiple disciplines and job functions, including engineers, program managers, production personnel, and outside vendors
  • Candidate must be a self-starter willing to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Existing or Ability to Obtain and Maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • B.S. / B.A. in a related field. Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Ability to manage projects; schedules, budgets, and priorities
  • Current Active Security Clearance
  • Prior work experience working on or in a military/government related position.
  • Candidates with experience in banking, finance, or accounting are encouraged to apply due to their strong analytical and "numbers-oriented" skill set.

This position is classified as:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
