Job summary

Hilton Garden Doheny in Dana Point, CA is seeking a Sales & Conference Services Manager to drive group room and banquet revenue. You will manage assigned groups from booking to completion, coordinating with Sales, Operations, F&B, Front Office and other departments to exceed revenue goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, conducting outside sales, and creating accurate BEOs and event documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of hotel sales with a proven track record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel sales, group business, conference services, and event operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate and local accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage assigned groups and events from initial booking through completion, ensuring client needs and hotel standards are met.
• Coordinate all aspects of conferences and events, including room sets, A/V, F&B, rentals, parking, billing, and deposits.
• Prepare banquet event orders, group resumes, rooming lists, and event layouts.
• Maintain accurate sales records, Delphi databases, and prospecting activity reports.
