Bechtel's Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) Business Unit is designing, building and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay, NY. The Lead Concrete Superintendent leads concrete operations, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality execution and mentoring field teams to meet project targets.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience, with extensive knowledge of concrete construction, ability to read drawings, and collaborative problem-solving with Field

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience / 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of concrete construction, including formwork, reinforcing steel, embeds, foundations, slabs, placements, curing and finishing.
• Ability to lead multiple Concrete Superintendents and large field teams in a schedule-driven project environment.
• Proven ability to plan and execute concrete work using installation work packages and short-interval planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to multiple Concrete Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen and concrete field teams.
• Establish concrete execution strategies, priorities, work plans, crew sequencing and access planning.
• Determine workforce requirements and support development of construction methods, schedules, and material/equipment needs.
• Coordinate concrete work with Field Engineering, Project Controls, Quality, Procurement, Subcontracts, and client representatives.
• Review project controls data related to progress, quantities, cost, and schedule; support recovery planning.
• Ensure concrete operations comply with design documents, specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Field Engineering and Design to interpret drawings, RFIs and constructability issues.
• Champion Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy to integrate safety and quality.
