Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior structural engineer to perform complex tasks across the Manufacturing and Technology Business Unit. You will develop designs for foundations, concrete, and steel superstructures and coordinate with senior engineers to deliver precise, compliant deliverables for a complex Fab project.

The role requires deep structural knowledge, familiarity with industry codes, and experience on semiconductor fabrication facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years for senior roles.
• PE license is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed phases of civil/structural engineering work including designs, drawings and specifications for structures and foundations.
• Develop and modify design documentation and requisitions.
• Apply structural analysis knowledge (static/dynamic) to select appropriate materials.
• Prepare cost estimates and quantity take-offs for proposals and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC).
• Support management in addressing issues during project execution.
