Job summary

Kent Companies' national division seeks a superintendent to lead large concrete operations across commercial and industrial projects. You will balance production with quality and coordinate with customers and internal teams, ensuring safe, efficient project execution.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of superintendent-level experience in large flatwork, in-house crews, and knowledge of constructability and mix designs; travel 100% to out-of-state sites; an ACI flatwork credential is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of superintendent-level commercial concrete construction experience.
• Experience on large commercial and industrial flatwork projects, including large commercial data center, distribution center, or warehouse concrete projects.
• Background self-performing concrete with in-house manpower rather than managing subcontractors.
• Experience managing construction schedules, budgets, manpower utilization, and production rates.
• Knowledge of concrete constructability, mix designs, and place‑and‑finish operations.
• Experience managing GCs and owners, coordinating with internal project teams, and handling customer communication on active commercial concrete jobs.
• Willingness to travel 100% to out-of-state data center or warehouse projects.
• Holding an American Concrete Institute (ACI) flatwork credential, such as Concrete Flatwork Associate, Concrete Flatwork Finisher / Technician, or Advanced Concrete Flatwork Finisher, is a plus.

This is an opportunity to join a team known for executing demanding projects where strong field leadership and operational discipline make a measurable difference. We support commercial and industrial builds with large in-house field crews and a hands‑on approach to delivering complex concrete work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

In this role, you will help lead major concrete operations on high‑profile commercial and industrial projects.
