RQ Construction LLC is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations for structural concrete, tilt‑up, and masonry on a DoD hospital project at NS Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The role requires coordinating with on-site management, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and high-quality execution in a 80/20 field/office split.

You will supervise crews, review drawings, manage materials, and mentor foremen while maintaining strict DoD standards and site safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field supervision experience in structural concrete, masonry, or similar heavy civil/vertical construction.
• Ability to read and build from structural drawings and specifications.
• Proven leadership skills with experience directing crews and managing subcontractors.

Responsabilités

• Oversee field operations across all phases of structural concrete and masonry work, including foundations, slabs, tilt‑up panels and CMU walls.
• Coordinate with the on‑site team to ensure staffing, materials, and schedule adherence.
• Review drawings and specs for accurate execution; monitor progress, safety, and quality.
• Direct and support field crews, coordinate with self‑perform teams, trade partners, and inspectors.
• Plan manpower, material deliveries, pours, pump scheduling, testing, and inspections.
• Mentor foremen and field partners to strengthen the team and capabilities.
