RQ Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations for structural concrete, tilt-up, and masonry on a hospital project at NS Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This on-site role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, and schedule adherence in a demanding DoD environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of field supervision in structural concrete or masonry.
• Experience managing multiple tasks or trades simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of foundations, cast-in-place concrete and CMU.
• Elevated slab and formwork experience is a plus.
• Read and build from structural drawings and specs.
• Proven leadership with crews and subcontractors.
• OSHA 30/EM385 knowledge; EM385 preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk Forma or similar tools is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and passport required.
• Comfortable on an active site with warm, humid conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee field operations across structural concrete and masonry work.
• Coordinate with on-site Foreman, Site Superintendent, and PM to staff and schedule.
• Review drawings and specs to verify execution.
• Monitor progress, safety, quality, manpower and productivity.
• Direct field crews and coordinate with self-perform teams and inspectors.
• Plan manpower, deliveries, pours, pump scheduling, testing, and inspections.
• Ensure correct formwork, reinforcement, embeds, and placements.
• Verify layout, formwork, rebar, pours, finishing, CMU work to specs.
• Identify issues early to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Enforce safety, lead toolbox talks, keep organized work areas.
• Complete daily reports, time sheets, photos, and meetings.
• Report field conditions and progress to keep RFIs and submittals on schedule.
• Communicate with Site Superintendent and others; mentor foremen and partners.
