Job summary

Duininck Concrete, based in West Central Minnesota, seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead the quality department, ensuring concrete products meet industry standards, project specs, and customer expectations. This role oversees mix design, submittals, and compliance with ACI, ASTM, and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in concrete mix design and analysis.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading technical teams on complex projects.
• Knowledge of ACI and ASTM standards; PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the internal quality control team.
• Oversee concrete mix design and optimization for strength and durability.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for production and placement.
• Conduct field inspections and materials tests (slump, strength, air content).
• Ensure compliance with ACI, ASTM, local codes and regulations.
• Oversee submittal packages and EPDs.
