Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage project components on site and apply JE Dunn processes for project management, administration and field execution. You will oversee safety, quality, scheduling and reporting while coordinating with the project team and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in construction, and strong skills in leadership, MS Office, Lean methods and CMiC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering or related field.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 3+ years construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned aspects of safety and quality plans and culture.
• Coordinates with project QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks.
• Participates in estimating and change management processes.
• Works on site with the project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Organizes and participates in meetings; prepares documentation.
• Creates procurement logs and tracks shop drawings and deliveries.
• Provides progress updates to support scheduling.
• Leads project close out and prepares closeout documentation.
• Mentors others and applies Lean practices.
