Qualifications

• 35 years of experience as a concrete form setter in heavy civil or commercial construction environments.
• Experience setting forms for sidewalks, curb and gutter, valley gutter, concrete pads, walls, and structural concrete applications.
• Ability to read construction plans, blueprints, grades, and layout measurements.
• Proficient in building, setting, aligning, and bracing wood and metal forms to specified line and grade.
• Experience using levels, lasers, string lines, and other layout equipment.
• Knowledge of concrete placement procedures and coordination with finishing crews.
• Ability to install embedded items, dowels, and reinforcing steel as required.
• Experience operating hand and power tools for concrete formwork.
• Knowledge of jobsite safety practices, OSHA regulations, and proper use of PPE.
• Ability to work around heavy equipment and within active construction zones.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
