Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to perform layout, placement, and finishing of concrete on a variety of projects. The role requires working with a crew, following forms and grade layouts, and finishing surfaces to a high standard.

Responsibilities include site preparation, reinforcement handling, and mold/joint work, with pay based on experience and qualifications. This position is Full-time and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years of applicable construction experience.
• Bridge construction a plus.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, balance, stoop.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Layout, site prep, placement, and finishing of concrete on various projects.
• Subgrade preparation.
• Setting forms to required grade and layout.
• Cutting, bending, and tying reinforcement.
• Finishing with trowel, screed, and float.
• Mold expansion joints and edges with edging tools.
• Use trade and hand tools.
