Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation in New Rochelle, NY is seeking a Concrete Estimator to join our team and lead detailed cost estimates for concrete work on civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include takeoffs from drawings, evaluating bids, coordinating with project managers and suppliers, and preparing competitive bid proposals using ProEst, Bluebeam, PlanSwift or On-Screen Takeoff. Bachelor's degree preferred and 5+ years of estimating experience requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience, with a strong emphasis on concrete work.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and performing accurate material quantity takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Estimate concrete work for civil infrastructure projects, including site prep, formwork, reinforcement, and finishing.
• Analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals based on project scope and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine budgets and scope.
