Job summary

Encore Pavement in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead our crews on construction sites. You will supervise finishers and laborers, read blueprints, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards.

You must have 5+ years hands-on concrete experience with 2+ years in supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on concrete experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of forming, placing, finishing, and curing concrete.
• Proven ability to read blueprints and interpret construction documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Physical ability to perform work in various weather and jobsite conditions.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
• Willingness to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crew members, including finishers and laborers.
• Coordinate daily tasks and assign work based on project needs.
• Ensure correct placement, leveling, finishing, and curing of concrete.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and follows safety protocols.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and inspections to avoid delays.
• Monitor progress and report status updates to the Superintendent or PM.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Enforce company policies and safety compliance (OSHA, PPE, etc.).
• Oversee and supervise daily operations of one concrete crew, including safety, quality, and personnel management.
