Job summary

Tech(x) is seeking a highly skilled COMSEC Modernization Analyst to support the Army’s cryptographic modernization efforts. This role focuses on implementing the Army Unified Network Plan and CMI, ensuring secure communications and NSS protection, with emphasis on transitioning to agile cryptographic solutions and Zero Trust.

The candidate should have expertise in cryptographic principles, DoD policies, and the ability to collaborate with Army stakeholders across DPS/G-6 and PEOs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology field; 15 years of COMSEC/cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with cryptographic principles, algorithms, and protocols.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies and regulations (e.g., CJCSN 6510, AR 25-2).
• Top Secret/SCI clearance w/ poly is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop COMSEC modernization plans and ensure CJCSN 6510 compliance.
• Analyze systems for cryptographic compliance and vulnerabilities.
• Support cryptographic modernization initiatives and Zero Trust rollout.
• Collaborate with Army stakeholders and PEOs to ensure program success.
• Prepare documentation, risk assessments, and status reports.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
