Job summary

Missing Link Security seeks a COMSEC & Cryptographic Modernization Architect to support an Army G-6 customer at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role focuses on developing and modernizing communications security policy, cryptographic capabilities, and secure communications strategies for NSS/NSI.

The candidate will collaborate with Government officials, Warfighters, and vendors to assess current capabilities, identify future requirements, and deliver policy and modernization recommendations, including PQC

Qualifications

• Must have strong background in COMSEC, cryptography, and secure communications policies.
• Experience developing and interpreting cybersecurity and COMSEC policies.
• Able to translate complex technical and policy issues into clear recommendations for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in COMSEC and cryptographic modernization.
• Develop and update COMSEC policies, standards, procedures, and guidance.
• Support PQC transition planning and quantum-resistant capabilities.
• Translate operational requirements into actionable COMSEC policy and modernization recommendations.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders, Warfighters, and vendors to define security requirements.
