Job summary

Armada Ltd. is seeking a COMSEC Engineer to provide specialized cryptographic systems engineering, key management architecture, and NSA approval support for the F‑35 program. Responsibilities include ensuring DoD RMF compliance and maintaining comprehensive COMSEC documentation.

The role requires extensive experience in cryptographic systems and accreditation activities, with coordination across Government security leads and international partners. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cryptographic systems and key management architectures applicable to high-assurance military aircraft.
• Experience supporting DoD RMF tasks and documentation requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with national cryptographic authorities and validate keying material usage.

Responsibilities

• COMSEC engineering for F‑35 cryptographic and key management architecture, ensuring secure integration with program requirements.
• Support for certification and accreditation activities for DoD RMF compliance.
• Assist in obtaining NSA approval for cryptographic changes to High Assurance Devices and validate keying material usage with authorities.
• Prepare accreditation packages and maintain documentation for Government review.
• Provide guidance on COMSEC design, support requirements, and recommended actions to Government security leads.
• Update FRDs, FPDs, SOPs, plans, and training materials within 90 days of Task Order awards and thereafter.
