Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an experienced ML Engineer (Vision) to design and implement production-grade computer vision models for object detection, segmentation, and OCR, turning visual data into actionable intelligence. You will build end-to-end pipelines with Python, PyTorch, and OpenCV, optimize training and deployment for accuracy and efficiency, and collaborate with global teams to integrate vision into broader ML applications.

This is a 100% remote role with competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering with a focus on Computer Vision.
• Proven expertise in object detection, segmentation, and classification using YOLO, Detectron, or SAM.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV for image processing and manipulation.
• Experience with model training, optimization, and GPU acceleration for high-performance applications.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize production-ready computer vision models for object detection, segmentation, and OCR.
• Build and maintain end-to-end vision pipelines using Python, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
• Implement model training and optimization strategies to ensure high accuracy and efficient resource usage.
• Scale visual AI workflows across diverse environments, including GPU-accelerated and edge deployment scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision capabilities into broader machine learning applications.
• Monitor and refine model performance in production to address data drift and maintain system reliability.
