Job summary

CFD Research seeks a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to design, develop, and optimize advanced CV and multi-sensor fusion algorithms for GEOINT workflows. You will prototype deep learning models, real-time tracking systems, and GPU-accelerated pipelines deployed in operational environments.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in Dayton, OH, writing Python or C++ code, tuning performance on multi-GPU servers, and ensuring scientifically explainable, validated solutions for

Qualifications

• 6+ years of CV algorithm development in remote sensing or GEOINT environments.
• 2+ years applying deep learning to CV problems using transformer-based or self-supervised architectures.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required for consideration.
• Experience with Python or C++ pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment.
• GPU-accelerated development using CUDA, RAPIDS, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with Kalman/extended filters for real-time tracking.
• Knowledge of PINNs or physics-constrained loss functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement deep learning CV models with sensor fusion and tracking focus.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy solutions in Python or C++.
• Leverage GPU programming to optimize CV applications.
• Contribute to architecture of single/multi-sensor detection, tracking, and fusion.
