Job summary

CFD Research Corporation is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to develop advanced CV and multi-sensor fusion algorithms for GEOINT workflows. You will work on deep learning models, real-time tracking, and GPU-accelerated pipelines in operational environments.

The role emphasizes explainable, physically interpretable models with strong emphasis on practical deployment across synthetic and real sensing environments. On-site Dayton, OH location and active TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of CV algorithm development in GEOINT or remote sensing environments.
• 1+ years applying DL to CV problems using transformer-based or self-supervised architectures.
• Candidate must possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience implementing model pipelines in Python or C++, including training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Knowledge of GPU-accelerated development using CUDA, RAPIDS, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding classical tracking or estimation methods for real-time algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement deep learning CV models with a focus on sensor fusion and tracking.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, test, and deploy Python or C++ solutions.
• Utilize GPU programming (CUDA/RAPIDS) to optimize CV applications.
• Contribute to architecture of single and multi-sensor detection, tracking, and fusion.
