Essential Responsibilities

• Research & Development:Develop high-impact technology concepts focused on computer vision algorithms, perception, and system-level integration.
• Technical Leadership:Lead and contribute to system architecture, design, and software development lifecycles.
• Strategic Engagement:Collaborate with internal and external thought leaders across the computer vision stack to identify and drive new applications and research initiatives.

Position Requirements

• Education:PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 5+ years' applied experience, OR Master's Degree plus 8+ years' experience.
• Technical Expertise:Demonstrated experience in at least three of the following:
  • Systems architecture, design, and integration.
  • Development of camera and sensor drivers.
  • Software engineering and architecture for complex systems.
  • Spatial Awareness:Robotic perception, SLAM, visual odometry, or 3D point cloud processing (e.g., PCL, Open3D).
  • System Integration:Architecture design, sensor fusion, and driver development for complex camera/lidar arrays
  • Simulation:Use of synthetic environments (e.g., NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo) for model training and validation.
  • Hardware-in-the-loop:Integrating software into operational robotic systems or industrial hardware.
  • Perception & Learning:Advanced computer vision algorithms, deep learning (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and model optimization for edge deployment.

• Development Proficiency:Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
• Execution:Proven track record of delivering technical projects and integrating software into functional, real-world systems.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
